About the event
Creator Camp is a five day workforce and media production program that connects Vermilion County high school students to real local careers, employers, and opportunities through a youth creator lens. One day is spent participating in the Amazing Race Vermilion County and 4 days are spent in production.
Thirty juniors and seniors work in teams to visit local businesses, interview professionals, and produce short form social media content that highlights career pathways, workplace culture, and the realities of working in Vermilion County. The content is created by students, for students, and shared where young people actually spend their time: on social media.
For sponsors, Creator Camp is both a workforce investment and a visibility opportunity. It helps build awareness of local career options, strengthens the talent pipeline, improves how young people perceive careers in the county, and provides employers with authentic, youth facing content that can be reused for recruiting,…
