ABOVE BOARD
Above Board is a leadership ethics session that meets State Officials and Employees Ethics Act (5 ILCS 430) requirements while equipping Deans and Program Coordinators with practical skills to navigate dilemmas, apply policy, and lead with integrity.

CANVA CONFIDENCE
Canva Confidence is a 1-hour training that gives participants the skills to design with ease and efficiency. The session covers account setup, templates, text and elements, alignment, effects, grouping, animations, saving, shortcuts, and more—equipping participants with practical tools to create polished, professional visuals.

CONQUERING CONFLICT
The ability to recognize conflict, understand the nature of conflict, and to be able to bring swift and just resolution to conflict will serve professionals well. The inability to do so may well be their downfall. Conquering Conflict is a practice-based training on how to conquer conflict head-on.

THE CRAFT OF COACHING
The Craft of Coaching is a 16-hour course designed to help leaders pivot from having all of the answers to empowering their employees to find the answers. Leaders learn to recognize spontaneous opportunities for coaching and leave better equipped to apply a variety of coaching tools to inspire growth and personal accountability within their team.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY, BELONGING AND INCLUSION
This course explores the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion by encouraging reflection on bias, embracing differences, and practicing respect. Participants will gain tools to foster inclusive environments and address discrimination constructively.

EFFECTIVE EVALUATIONS
Effective Evaluations is a 1-hour training that prepares supervisors to deliver clear, constructive evaluations. The session covers communication strategies, formal and informal feedback, performance logs, and best practices for effective employee evaluation.

ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS
Essential Workplace Skills is a 16-hour course designed to take a deep dive into 4 Core Success Competencies identified by the Illinois Community College Board: Personal Ethic, Work Ethic, Communication, and Teamwork. Participants come away with a renewed understanding of high-performance workplace expectations and the skills to hold themselves accountable for meeting those expectations.

THE FEEDBACK FORMULA
Providing open and honest feedback is an essential element of professional development. We know employees do not give their best effort when they feel undervalued and unappreciated. The Feedback Formula solves for unknown variables of feedback. This training is for leaders that know the importance of feedback but are missing part of the equation.

THE GAP HACK
The Gap Hack is a leader’s guide to managing across a generation gap. Millennials are quickly making up the most significant part of the workforce, and more are entering every year. Now, as Gen Z makes their mark on the workforce, many leaders find managing across the Generation Gap difficult. The Gap Hack, educates leaders on the work characteristics of each generation and communication tools that work for each!

HOLY SHIFT
Holy Shift is the mindset manual training designed to raise awareness, understanding, and confidence around the 7 levels of energy. Your level of energy, or consciousness, creates your world. By altering your perceptions of yourself, your work, and those around you, you create a more powerful, fulfilling, and rewarding life.

JERK AT WORK
Improve the overall accountability for short, disrespectful, or impersonal communication within the team. Improve individuals’ self- reflection and improvement of communication behaviors that can be damaging to work relationships within the department and cross-functionally.

LEADERSHIP OUT LOUD
Leadership Out Loud is for first-time and front-line leaders. This course focuses on overcoming the hurdles associated with transitioning from peer to leader. Leaders focus on how to set expectations and learn to hold their employees accountable. This course encourages new leaders to engage in conversation about expectations with their managers and align their individual vision and direction with the larger organizational strategy.

PLAYING FOR KEEPS
Playing for Keeps is a fast-paced team workshop that will amp up your team's competitive spirit, provide a shared positive experience, and reenergize their creativity! In a "minute-to-win-it" style competition, team members play for all the marbles. This half-day workshop will have your team ready to win!

SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION
This course satisfies the Illinois state requirement covering the definition of Sexual Harassment, examples of conduct, summary of Federal and State statutory laws and a summary of employer responsibilities!

TOXIC TEAMS AND DRAMA QUEENS: HR'S GUIDE TO CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Toxic Teams & Drama Queens is a 1-hour training that tackles the real cost of conflict at work. Participants will learn how unresolved drama drains productivity, why HR’s role is strategic—not a babysitting service—and how to spark a culture shift that replaces dysfunction with accountability and respect.

WORKPLACE WISE: ANTI-HARASMENT TRAINING
Workplace Wise is a 1-hour training that defines harassment, reviews responsibilities and legal protections, and equips Illinois Valley Community College employees with tools to prevent and address harassment in a respectful workplace.
